This is the picture of one of the rarest coin issued by the RBI in 1992.
This coin's Obverse side has Asoka lion pedestal above denomination
and Reverse side has Tree above wavy lines.The Edge of the coin is Plain and the Shape is Eleven sided.
This coin was issued as part of awareness campaign for conservation and promotion of scientific management of land resources.It was released by the then Honourable Minister for Agriculture,Mr.Sharad Pawar on 18-11-1993 during the National Resources Conservation Week.
This coin is minted in Copper Nickel Alloy.The mintage of this coin is assumed to be very less and it may be less than 150.This coin listed in the commemoratives series issued by the Calcutta Mint in their official website.
